“Magic is used to entertain millions of people every single year.” – Ryan Even

Magic is used to entertain millions of people every single year. Despite the fact that it’s entertaining, there are quite a few people who believe that magic is evil. There are people who believe that magic is the work of the devil. Yet most believe that magic is simply a harmless means of entertainment. So that begs the questions: Is magic evil?
Some people like to divide magic into two categories: so-called white magic and black magic. White magic is magic that’s used for good, while black magic is used for bad purposes. Others believe there is only one type of magic and how it’s used is completely up to the magician.
For the majority of people magic is seen in movies as taking on all types of forms and being used for both good and evil. However, in real-life magic is only used as a source of entertainment. At least that’s all the vast majority of people know about it.
There are other people who consider the question – “Is magic evil?” and they answer with an emphatic “yes”. These are people who see any type of paranormal activity to be that of the devil. There are certain religions and religious beliefs that automatically label magic as being evil. Of course, these people have a right to their own beliefs but most people don’t agree with this.
Certainly not all magicians are bad people. In fact, the vast majority of magicians are good people. They have a desire to entertain people, which is a noble cause. Therefore, it’s difficult to come to the conclusion that all magic is evil. It’s even difficult to believe that some magicians are evil.
Evil is, after all, a very strong word and it carries with it some very strong connotations.
But perhaps while magicians aren’t evil magic is? This is a possibility. But again, it seems that any activity that is able to bring pleasure to people – “both those who perform it and those who watch it” – can’t be all bad.
So there is no concrete answer to the question: Is magic evil? In the end it’s up to each individual person to decide for themselves. Judging by the popularity of magic, it doesn’t seem that many people are actually of the belief that magic is evil. In fact, it seems that most people would agree that magic is an overall good thing.

“Performing magic tricks is a lot of fun. Everyone loves seeing a great magic trick.” – Ryan Even

Performing magic tricks is a lot of fun. Everyone loves seeing a great magic trick. However, many of the magic tricks are too difficult for just anyone to learn. There are some tricks that are easier to do and are also entertaining. Here is a fun and easy coin trick that anyone can do that’s fun and will entertain people.
All that’s needed for this coin trick is ten pennies (or any coin will do) and a hat or paper bag. The coins need to all have a different date on them. They should be placed in the hat or paper bag. You will also need a group of people – at least 10 or so – to make this trick work. You will see why in a few seconds.
What you will do is give the coin or hat to one person in the group. Ask them to examine all the coins to make sure they have different dates. Once that is confirmed, ask that person to choose one coin out of the hat (or bag). Then have them pass the coin to every person in the group so they can all see the date. Once everyone has looked at the coin, then have them place that coin back in the hat (or bag) and take the hat back. Reach into the hat and pull out the coin that was chosen. They’ll be amazed that you chose the right one.
It’s not difficult to perform this trick. You aren’t required to do anything but to choose the coin that is the warmest. Remember the coin that was chosen was passed to every person in the group so that would make that coin warmer than all the rest. Yet no one will really figure that out. But to make the entire trick work you have to be sure that the coin has a chance to get warm. So make sure that it passes through plenty of hands and is handled by enough people. Otherwise this easy trick won’t work and it won’t be fun and it won’t impress anyone.
This really is a fun and easy coin trick. Yet it’s also very entertaining and will impress everyone who sees it. You just need to make sure that you have enough people in the group so that the coin will be warmed up from being handled. If you do then you can’t go wrong with this trick.

“Mixing up your routine with card tricks is highly recommended when performing mentalism.” – Bradlee Carter
Master Mentalism is a book written by Ryan Even, who claims that he can teach you how to perform magic tricks even if you have never performed one before. I must admit that I was very skeptical about the whole website at first, and thought that it might just be another ordinary magic guide like many of the ones I had come across.
Ryan claims that his program can help you learn how to perform magic tricks, so easily that even a 12 year old can do it. Can these claims really be true? I decided to buy Master Mentalism to find out the truth. The whole package is actually four books each covering different aspects of performing magic. The main book is 269 pages and it is broken down into six major sections which are mentalism, interviews with experts, levitation, card tricks, hypnosis and mind reading.
The section I liked most out of the main book was the one on mentalism, it contained a lot of tricks which would not take too much time for anyone to master. Tricks such as heads or tails, book test, find the lady, a coin in the hand and many other cool tricks which I really liked. But the one thing I did not really like was the fact that there were no videos to show us how to perform the actual tricks. Although Ryan did really go into detail on each of the tricks, I still believed that it would have being much better if he had put up some videos teaching us how to perform these tricks.
The Bottomline
If you are interested in learning how to perform magic tricks, master mentalism is one of the best books out there. It does not matter whether you have never performed magic before, there are so many tricks in the book that you must be able to perform one of them. If you would like the chance of taking your magic tricks to the next level, grab a copy of master mentalism.
